Layered navigation - shades of color under 1 color

Hi,

I am desperately in need of a module for attributes - I need to show basic colors in layered navigation but I have products with multiple shades of basic colors. Example: I have several shades of red in my product A and some in product B and few in product C and so on and I need them grouped under 1 basic shade of red in layered navigation. When a customer hits this basic color red in the navigation, he gets product A (default shade of red I choose), product B .. C and so on with a shade of red on image listed. Is there any solution for this?
