bloggus
Hello, Running version 1.6.1.17 I'm a little confuced. I hoped duplicating a product, that is available in 4 stores, in multistore would be like: Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 1 description Old product, Store 2 description -->> New product, Store 2 description Old product, Store 3 description -->> New product, Store 3 description Old product, Store 4 description -->> New product, Store 4 description Instead I see: Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 1 description Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 2 description Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 3 description Old product, Store 1 description -->> New product, Store 4 description Basically for the new product, description (also short description, seo title, seo desciption) are all taken from Store 1, instead of copy from store 1 to store 1, from store 2 to store 2 …. etc.. Seems like an odd behaviour. Is this rght?
Rolige
Hello, There is no option to copy or clone products information from one store to another, this happen only in the moment you create your multi-store, in that moment you can get products, categories, brands, etc, etc, from one store, but once you are working in a configured multi-store, you can’t clone products, but you can modify information of a product for one store, for a group of stores or for all stores. bloggus
Sure you can! I the catalog list you can stil duplicate a product!! I Think you have missed that ... The only problem is that the new product information is all stores are set to be taken from store number 1.
