Configuration options offered to the store admin?

The configuration options offered to the store admin by the Multi-vendor Marketplace addon are mentioned below:

Seller Approval: Admin can review the seller account and only after the approval of the admin the user will be registered as a seller.

Commission settings: The admin can set and change the commission from the marketplace back-office.

Product listing status: The admin can keep a track of the listed products. The products will be listed at the marketplace only after the approval of the admin.

Product control: The Multivendor Marketplace Module allows the admin to control the seller products. The admin can enable the settings to review the seller products and after admin approval the product will get live at marketplace. 

Category control: The admin can add new category/sub-category to the Marketplace and assign the categories to the seller. If required, sellers can request the admin to assign new categories, so that, they can upload their products to the new category.

Review: Admin can enable/disable the product and seller reviews from the back-office.

Payment options: Sellers can effectively use the payment options added by the Marketplace Admin.

Order management: Admin can allow/restrict sellers from managing orders.

Shipping methods: Admin can allow the sellers to add custom shipping methods of their choices if this functionality is enabled from the back-end.

SEO-friendly features: Sellers can add Meta tags and Meta description for their shop. They can even change the URL of their product pages. 

Email Templates: The Multivendor Marketplace Module offers a number of default email templates that can be used to send automated emails which saves the time of the admin.

GDPR  compliance: Marketplace module allows the store admin to enable the GDPR settings to meet the GDPR requirements. Under the GDPRcompliance, the sellers even get an option to request for shop closure. The request is processed from the back-end by the admin.

Easy Customization: The admin can personalize their online marketplace by adding custom CSS code in the back-end of the Multiseller Marketplace addon.

[FAQ] How to fix the product listing limit for the sellers?

The Multivendor Marketplace module allows the store admin to manage the number of products listed by the sellers. The admin can update the product count from the Settings tab of the Multivendor Marketplace module. If the New Product Limit field is set to 20, it means each sellers can list the maximum 20 products to the Marketplace.

Hi. when I copy the text in the editor tinymce on the page of product, all styles of the text are removed. what needs to be made that in the editor styles for the text remained?

Please note that a very important feature is missing from this plugin, and that is the ability to issue Seller Payouts using Bank Wire/Bank Transfer!

At the moment you have: Currently PayPal is supported for the PayOut. - In many countries PayPal isn't very used, and being a Business-to-Business transaction (store pays seller), bank transfers will be used 99% of the time (also this is the professional way to do it).

So we're all hoping that you add this feature in the next release.

We understand your point and would like to inform you that the Multi-Vendor Marketplace module offers the Bank Wire Payout option.
There are 3 payout options available in the marketplace module-
1) Bank Wire
2) Payment by Cheque
3) Paypal

In order to enable the required payout option admin needs to go to the General Settings >> Payment methods allowed.

Sellers can select the desired payout option from the seller interface.
Seller Profile >> Payout Option. Please refer to the attached screenshots.

The Marketplace module allows the sellers to upload the products by using a CSV file but as of now, the product syncing option is not available. In the default marketplace module, the CSV import feature for the sellers is not available which will be implemented as a custom change with a small additional cost.

Thanks for showing your interest in the Marketplace module. 

We would like to inform you that module is not translated in Arabic language but you can translate all the text of the module into Arabic. Our support team will assist you for the changes. 

As of now the feature to display the products to a specific region or zip code is not available in the module. However the Marketplace module is compatible the "Product Availability Check By ZipCode" module so that customers will be able to check the product availability in their location at the product page. The requested change can be implemented as a custom change that will cost you some additional amount. 

Payment method-
The customer can pay for seller products using any of the payment gateway available on your store. The order amount first goes to the admin account. After order completion, The amount corresponding to their products gets added in their earning and the seller needs to raise the payout request. Admin can approve/disapprove the payout request. If approved then admin can pay the seller either by Paypal, Bank Wire, or By check.

I have checked the demo and found that the following statement is not achievable as stated: 

Product control: The Multivendor Marketplace Module allows the admin to add/remove the products.

There is no such a function that allows admin to add a product to a specific seller. The admin can approve a seller's listed products but not adding products from PS dashboard product list.

Am I missing something?

We are sorry for the confusion. Product control means admin can review and approve the sellers products. 

As of now, admin can not add the products for the sellers. In case you need this feature in Marketplace module then you can contact our support team and they can implement this feature for you as a custom change.

In our marketplace module seller has to add their own shipping methods and has to map the same with their products.

Admin shipping methods cannot be used for a seller products. If seller doesn't create any shipping method then a default free shipping carrier of that seller is avaliable for seller product.

If you would like to use admin shipping method for seller products then we will remove the functionality from our module from the seller end to create seller carriers and default free shipping carrier too.

I bought your module and I can write a little review.

In general, the module works, but there is a problem with the translation.
Translation into Russian is absolutely incorrect, the user will not understand anything.
I worked for a week to correct the user part. Later I will fix the admin part of the translation. Where can I send my translation file so that you can make corrections in the next version?

 

Another question: several years ago (Posted March 1, 2019), this topic discussed the availability information of delivery from seller on the product page. Will this option be added to your module?

The plan is not created, it is not visible in the list of plans, but it  visible in admin product list.

I can't activate the Marketplace. I get this message when i try (after save)! Can anybody help? I tried to uninstall the modul and bring it back again but the same problem occurs.
