Image alt attribute in Prestashop 1.7

Hello,

In Prestashop 1.7 how do you set (or change) an image's alt & title attributes?

Go to the product page, click on the first tab, then select an image. A textarea appears on the right hand side. Use the language switch on the top to jump to another language.

Hi pedepot, 

Thanks for your reply. However, when I do as you mentioned, the text area that appears is for image caption. I still have no alt attribute on my store.

Any other idea?

Site URL please ? are You using default theme OR any third party theme?

It's possible that theme developer has not added the alt tags on the images. Can only be checked if you can share the site URL.

Thanks for the info, but in my admin I just see a blank box with no options. The server is on nginx, everything works great, except for this. No errors in logs. PS 1.7.5.0

It looks pretty much broken to me. The 'shadowed' bar crossing the page is an indication that something is wrong with your prestashop.

Are you using chrome?

YUP.

But that shadow is because of the image capturing app I used.
