How To Retrive Customer Data of PS

Hi Friends,

I am doing fresh setup of PS due to some issues. I want to know some of the customer has registered on my site. How to retrieve that data means customer registration information and how do I keep that on new installation please help me. Also I am able to log in on previous installed Cpanal through which I did last setup of my PS. If I make a backup of that and paste over on new one then will I get that customer info data or do I have to copy paste only some files from that folder.

Please suggest me.

Copy the ps_customer, ps_customer_group and ps_address tables from the old database into the new one. Also, copy the the COOKIE_KEY and COOKIE_IV from the old config/settings.inc.php to the new one, so that the customers passwords can still be decrypted on the new site.

I have exported these files through PHPMYADMIN in .sql file format. Through which I am able to replace new files with this old one. Is it right way to do?

Yes, exporting those tables into SQL format from one PrestaShop database into another PrestaShop database should work, as long as the tables are the same structure. Just make sure you export the data only, not the structure, otherwise you will get an error that the table already exists.
