all4terra Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 After I had spent all my night with "500 Internal Error", I've found a solution for this problem.First of all, if you have a old configuration on your linux server, with 777 everywhere, just look in Error Log in CPanel and see what's the problem (for me, the part with line #4 in config.inc.php doesn't work).In my case was something funny: the files favicon.ico and 500.shtml were missing from /public_html AND the folder permissions for "modules" was 777, and the solution, of course, was to change it into 755 Good luck 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But due to unknown changes There are certain errors appearing. The issue is that after adding a product to cart when I confirm my order, it gives a blank page... and after refreshing that page this error appears. "Cart cannot be loaded or an order has already been placed using this cart" at URL: /module/cashondelivery/validation Although the order is placed at the back end, the customer is not notified of it. also customer doesn't receive any email.
