Charity Module Please!

Hi, we've been using prestashop for a while now and it's been great! Now it' time we started giving something back and help those in need.

I want to have an option during the check-out process that will allow our customer the choice to donate to the charity of their choice. I'm not sure if this is easy to implement but I guess that the more experienced users will be able to assist.

It would be great if there could be a few charities that our customers could choose from and then simply add the amount that they would like to donate.

I think that things are more complex than they seem.

I do not know in other countries, but here in France people can deduct the amounts given to charities from the taxes. So an invoice is needed and this would be difficult to manage with a module.

I think that the simplest should be to offer links to some charities sites.

I was hoping that there was a better way than to have links to charity organizations as we all know that it's easier to continue with the check-out process and complete the order than to actually make any donation.

If our customers had an option during check-out which would allow them to select the amount that they would like to donate and have this added to the overall total, then the donation success rate would be much higher not to mention only having to process one payment instead of also having to click on a link to make another payment for their donation.

Isn't there maybe an option like adding insurance to the order (during check-out) but have this modified so that it resembles a donation instead?
