  1. Username is Dustin as already mentioned (http://www.prestashop.com/forums/user/52374-dustin/)
  2. Hi Mike, Unfortunately I don't know, I paid Dustin for his services so anyone needing help with the same problem should ask him for assistance. Cheers
  3. Problem has been solved, anyone that needs someone to resolve similar issue please speak to Dustin.. he's a member on the forum and is extremely good!
  4. We recently upgraded from PS 1.0.0.4 to 1.4.6.2, the problem I'm sitting with is that ordered products do not show in the order history (Front Office -> My orders). When my customers lo into their account and click on "My orders" then select any of their existing orders, these open and show the correct order amount/value but without any products being displayed in the actual order (see attached image). In the BO everything seems ok, I can view the orders as well as the products ordered in each order. My customers also receive the order confirmation emails which display the product/s ordered so no problem here, the only issue seems to be in the front office when accessing "My orders". Besides the inconvenience, this causes another problem. A customer is unable to request a return should a product be faulty because there's no product to select within the order. We've done the following to eliminate possible causes; * Switched on the default theme.., problem persists * Force Compile on, refreshed, Force Compile off, placed new order.., problem persists Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks. [uPDATE]: If from the front end I open "My merchandise returns", then I am able to view passed return requests (RMA's) and these display the products correctly. This referring to returns processed while still using PS version 1.0.0.4 and not after the upgrade to 1.4.6.2.
  5. Thank you for the info, Dustin has assisted with importing the DB and has done a great job (highly recommended). Cheers to all..
  6. Hi, I would like to know if anyone can assist with the following; I was using PS version 1.0.0.4 but started having problems, everytime I edited any product's description and then saved it, all products would disappear from the front end as well as the back office. So I decided to move onto the latest version 1.4.6.2, I tried updating my current version by meticulously following these steps which failed due to a TAX_ID Field error (http://doc.prestasho...ting+PrestaShop). Now, I simply installed a fresh installation as well as my recently purchased template (http://addons.presta...72-rcseats.html). My only problem that I have now is that I need to import my database (in sql format, not zip) that I downloaded so that I can have all orders, products, categories, customers etc.. in the new PS in the same way as these were in my previous PS. If you are able to assist and perform this work, could you please let me know how much you would charge and how long it would take (approximately)? Thanx, Claude
  7. Sorry for only replying now, just got back from a short trip. Had my host restore the latest backup so that the site would be up and running which is what I needed for now just to keep things on the go. I'm going to go ahead with the updating my current version to the latest which should hopefully get rid of some bugs, you'll be hearing from me Stephen via the support ticket. Many thanks!
  8. Thanks Stephen, is that a US number? Doesn't seem to work from here, can you please include the International dialing code and do I just for you? I just asked Hostgator to restore the backup so that at least I have the site up and running for now cause I'll be travelling for a fews days so I don't want the site in maintenance mode until I get back. I think what I need done after I'm back is to get the latest version installed, a new template and my DB in the new version. Thanks..
  9. Ok, I managed to find the first backup so I replaced footer.inc.php with the original file which allows me to view the version in the BO - Version 1.0.0.4 - 0.210s We changed so many things over the past 2 years that I got to worried about updating to the latest version, would probably end up causing more harm than good so I just left it the way it was :-s I'm considering upgrading to a later version as well as to revamp the store with a new template, already contacted Template Monster to see if they can install a later version, new template and put my existing DB back into the new version. Do you know where I could get this done for a fair price? Thanks..
  10. Hi Stephen, thanks for making the effort to assist. I remember that I could see the version in the BO footer when PS was first installed but I have someone working on the site over 2 years ago and since then it just says Powered by StopShop which is the company name. I think it's version 1.1, is there another way to view the exact version I'm currently using? As requested, the link of the product that I updated is as follows; http://www.stopshop.co.za/254-buy-audi-a3-dvd-gps-satnav The only change I made was to copy the html, paste it into Frontpage and change one of the specifications from "no" to "yes". I then copied and pasted the new html into PS's BO and hit the update button as I always do (on a daily basis), this is when I got the error message "an error occurred while updating object product". Once the error appears, this is when all products go missing from the front end as well as from Catalog in my BO. Once again, thanks for helping!
  11. The strangest thing happened this morning after updating a product's description as I've been doing on a daily basis and without any problems. All products disappeared from both front and back end, they're simply gone and no where to be found. After updating a product's descripion, basically changing a "no" to a "yes", I received the following error message; "an error occurred while updating object product". At this point, all products are no longer visible although everything else in my BO seems to be ok. Not 100% sure of the version I'm using but I think it's 1.1 in case that matters. I also had a look at the error log and found the following towards the bottom from the same time onwards that the problem happened; [05-Jan-2012 14:41:49] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 698 [05-Jan-2012 14:41:49] PHP Warning: uasort() [<a href='function.uasort'>function.uasort</a>]: The argument should be an array in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 701 [05-Jan-2012 14:41:49] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 704 [05-Jan-2012 14:41:56] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 698 [05-Jan-2012 14:41:56] PHP Warning: uasort() [<a href='function.uasort'>function.uasort</a>]: The argument should be an array in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 701 [05-Jan-2012 14:41:56] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 704 [05-Jan-2012 14:42:51] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 698 [05-Jan-2012 14:42:51] PHP Warning: uasort() [<a href='function.uasort'>function.uasort</a>]: The argument should be an array in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 703 [05-Jan-2012 14:42:51] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 704 [05-Jan-2012 14:45:11] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 698 [05-Jan-2012 14:45:11] PHP Warning: uasort() [<a href='function.uasort'>function.uasort</a>]: The argument should be an array in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 703 [05-Jan-2012 14:45:11] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 704 [05-Jan-2012 14:50:36] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 698 [05-Jan-2012 14:50:36] PHP Warning: uasort() [<a href='function.uasort'>function.uasort</a>]: The argument should be an array in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 701 [05-Jan-2012 14:50:36] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/stopshop/public_html/classes/Tools.php on line 704 When this problem happened, I contacted Hostgator to restore my backup which they did and everything was working fine until I updated or at least tried to update the same product's description which now caused the same problem. So I don't think that paying Hostgator another 15$ for restoring the site is the solution because the problem actually needs to be resolved but I have absolutely no idea what's causing it. BTW, I have another site (for the International market) with the exact same products and I just tried updating the same product's description and did so without any issues, so I'm 100% sure that the actual description is not the cause. Any help, input or suggestions is appreciated!
  12. I'm seting up a new site which has been kept on hold for a while as I need a simpler way to manage the shipping charge based on weight. I'll be offering International shipping by DHL to 17 different zones and Fedex for another zone, 18 zones in total. The 18 zones are made up of 245 countries that I have already created and linked to their respective zones. The shipping charge needs to be calculated in this manor: 1: Each zone has a different charge for the 1st 0.5Kg 2: Each zone has a different charge for each additional 0.5Kg after the initial 0.5Kg 3: Each zone has a different charge for each additional 1Kg after 21Kg 4: Each zone has a different charge for each additional 1Kg after 31Kg 5: Each zone has a different charge for each additional 1Kg after 51Kg 6: Each zone has a different charge for each additional 1Kg after 100Kg 7: Each zone has a different charge for each additional 1Kg after 300Kg I do not want to have to do this manually as it'll be time consuming and again a headache to update when prices change. I need a easier method that will allow me to select the weight range and add the respective price for the initial 0.5Kg, then for each additional 0.5Kg thereafter up to 21Kg and then add the price per 1Kg from 21Kg up to 31KG etc.. I am willing to pay for a viable solution and I am currently using Version 1.2.5.0 - 0.069s This is quite urgent, please help!
