htaccess Css for front end not working after moving Ps to localhost.

Hi, 

I have been trying to configure Prestashop 1.6 on my localshost and I am using Xamp. The shop I am migrating to my local machine was already online and I have successfully been able to configure everything. However, on the front end part the CSS seems not to be working and when I click on any link on the FO homepage it throws error 404 with 'Object not Found'.

The console gives me these errors:

I have tried reading other similar posts in the forum but I seem to have an issue handling this.
