Curgenven Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Hi there, I've only recently found PrestaShop and I have to say it's by far the best shopping cart system I've seen to date! I have one quick question which I hope you can help with... For one of our items we sell, it requires the customer to pick an attribute option based on where they live and if they're a member of the club or not. I had set it up with a "control" attribute asking them to chose one of the attributes listed below and set the control attribute to be out of stock stopping them from adding the product to their cart without putting some thought into what they're ordering, which works fine if the customer is viewing the product page, but from the category listing page they can still click the "quick add" button which defaults to the next available attribute (which is a great feature in itself!) Is there a way to stop the customers from doing this and forcing them to view the product page and chose the attribute that applies to them? Thibaud Samson Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 You can edit the concerned modules' templates (by copying the template file in themes/your_theme/modules/your_module_name/your_template_name.tpl) to remove the add to cart buttons. I'd rather that the customers have to view the product before adding it to their cart anyway so that solves two problems ;D Thanks for the quick reply and the help!!
