rocky
If you are using the same version of PrestaShop, you could export the ps_category, ps_category_group, ps_category_lang, ps_category_product, ps_group, ps_group_lang, ps_manufacturer, ps_manufacturer_lang, ps_product, ps_product_lang, ps_supplier and ps_supplier_lang tables from your database using phpMyAdmin, then back up your friend's database then import those tables into their database. It shouldn't be difficult, unless your friend has already added products that aren't on your site and wants to keep them, since the IDs may conflict.
