GB
Hi,Sorry for this dumb question. I want to update the prices of all my products. I'm using combinations with attributes for weight impact, 5 per product.Do I need to modify the prices one by one in each product, or there is a way, once the combinations are modified, to clone them from one product to another? it's possible to do it without the need of a module?I've been searching on the forums and Google without any luck. Thanks in advance. rocky
You can create a product with attributes, then use the "Duplicate" button (the plus icon) in the "Actions" column on the Catalog tab. That's the only way to copy attributes without using a third-party module.
GB
Hi rocky,Thanks for your quick reply! That's what i did to create the products. In order to update the prices, since all are existing products and I didn't want to create new ones, I had to modify them one by one in the combinations section. Painful if you have many products with many attributes: size, weight etc. I suggest that the next version of prestashop include a way to clone combinations/attributes and boxes to tick them and batch modify the prices Anyway, the process was easy. Prestashop rocks!
rocky
The Attribute Order module lets you copy attributes from one product to another or even an entire category.
GB
Thanks again rocky! This module looks quite promising and it's unexpensive.
