I am new to PrestaShop, but I am confident in using SVN and programming in general.Would you start implementing a new webshop using the SVN version of 1.4.x or would you rather stick to the latest stable version and take the trouble when 1.4 is released as stable?I expect that the shop will go-live in January.Best RegardsKenneth Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rocky Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 It's always best to use the stable version of PrestaShop, since it has been tested for bugs by the PrestaShop team and the community since it has been released. If you encounter a problem in PrestaShop v1.3.2, it is likely someone else has encountered the problem before and posted on the forums. Since many new features have been added to PrestaShop v1.4, there is likely to be bugs, and if you encounter one, it is unlikely someone else will have posted a solution on the forums.
