bead Posted November 2, 2010 Share Posted November 2, 2010 I have about 30,000 products I would like to try to import into the store. I cannot get it to import any. I have reduced the number of products down to around 1,000, but it is still timing out. When I go to the store to see what products have been imported after it times out I just see one category and there are no products in it.What could be wrong? Also, what are the limits on the Import Tool? The wiki seems to be for version 1.1 but I am using the latest version 1.3.2Thank you for any help you can provide me with. jhnstcks Posted November 3, 2010 Share Posted November 3, 2010 If your trying to import images at the same time, that is what is causing the timeout on the server.As has already been adviced your best bet would be to create a prestashop installtion on your pc using WAMP or some other server software, then import your prodycts using that, Then upload the database, and the img/p/ file to your site.
