Prestashop 1.7 'Next Page' button in products listing page

Hello,

I'm new to prestashop, when i click on a category to see the products it shows 12 products, but i can't see a next/previous page button to view the rest of the products (see screenshot attached). I know i can change the number of products shown in Shop Parameters > Product Settings but i don't want to show all the products because it is not recommended for when i have many products.

I read something about changing the pagination.tpl file but i don't know what i'm supposed to change. I've attached the file also.

I'm using Prestashop 1.7.1.x and a custom theme not the classic. I appreciate any help.
