Setting up cheque and Bank Wire Transfer please

hi all, i need some help of how to configure and set up cheque and bank wire transfers within my prestashop website.


First of all, Cheques

Cheques is what im really stuck on as i could have it made out to my business name or my name, but not sure which.. or would both work?

it mentions 'To the order of' but what do i put here?
it also mentions 'Address', do i put my banks address here, or mine or what?



And last of all, Bank Wire transfer.

What details do i need to make sure i include?
As im a sole trader so do i give the name of my business or my actual name, or both?
My business account is set up with the business name as well as mine.

Other than this, what vital pieces of information do i need to type in?

Its better and recommended to use business details for both purposes.


In case of Cheque:

To the order of: Put your business name (if you have bank account on your business name)
and Address: it is the address where this cheque should be posted. Obviously, it should be your's business address.


For Bank Wire Transfer:

Your Account title: Put your business name (if you have bank account on your business name)
Your Account No:
Bank Name & Address:


Ask your bank for the following details, they will guide you better about which details you'll have to mention.

International Account No:
SWIFT Code:



Other than such things, you don't have to share anything else with customers.

Ill only be having money transfered to my bank account within the UK so is the international acc no and swift code necessary?

What is needed for wire transfer but only within the uk?

Which Bank and their address
The name which your account is in. ie your trading business name

If in doubt why not go and see your business manager or give your bank a call and ask them.

thankyou, i bank with natwest as well, set up a business plus account in which i have received paying in book and cheque book with my business name so i guess i can use that rather than my actual name.
