Multiple Shipping Options

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm reasonably new to using Presta Shop and I'm experiencing some issues with shipping carriers and charging.

I would like to have two shipping options:

1 - Next Day Delivery - which carries a standard fee of £5.95

2 - Standard Delivery - which is free on all orders over £15, or £3 additional charge for orders under £15

I have managed to setup Standard Delivery service from reading other posts on the forum, but I am unable to add the Next Day service also.

Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated as to how I would be able to implement both shipping services.

Many thanks in advance.

You should be able to do this by creating two carriers. Select "according to price" on the Shipping tab, go to Shipping > Carriers and create "Next Day Delivery" and "Standard Delivery" carriers, go to Shipping > Price ranges and set the price ranges of the "Next Date Delivery" to £0 - £1000000 and "Standard Delivery" to £0 - £15 and £15 - £1000000, then return to the Shipping tab, select "Next Day Delivery" in the dropdown, then enter the price of the £0 - £1000000 range to £5.95, then click Save, then select "Standard Delivery" in the dropdown, then enter the price of the £0 - £15 range to £3 and the £15 - £1000000 range to £0, then click Save.

Hi,

I have a client for whom I´m building a website and would like the following functionalities:

There will be several shipping zones, including but not limited to:

Spain (mainland)

Spain (islands)

European Union (may be divided into main and secondary cities).

Need to be able to:

1) Set a fixed shipping charge for Spain mainland and islands based on minimum order amount. That is, mainland up to 100€, for example, charge 20€ shipping and handling. From 100€ to 300€, 30€. Over 300€ free shipping.

2) Same thing, with different values to the Spanish islands (Balearic and Canary + Ceuta & Melilla provinces, in Africa).

3) Other EU countries, standard shipping rates, based on weight and dimensions (depending on the carrier, there could be ground or air rates).

Then, a consideration to keep in mind. We work with 3 groups of customers. All the above applies to groups 1 and 2. But we would like group 3 to only have the option "Pick up in store".

Anybody knows how to achieve this?
