cheapbeds
HiI need to set up shipping cost on a categorey basis. Currently, any order over £99 is free delivery, however, any mattress for example under £99 has a delivery charge of £29.99, where as a headboard under £99 has a delivery charge of £9.99.In essence, I need to set delivery charges on a categorey basis for products under £99, to enable the correct delivery to be priced.Any help appreciated. gdinari
This can't be done by prestashop. Its a big request and problem. You should try buying a shipping module (not much free ones out there) and then set the different weights to all the products of the categories to have a certain price. For example:- Set all Category A products to one (similar) weights.- Set all Category B products to one (similar) weights.- Set all Category C products to one (similar) weights. So that when a particular item from one of those categories is selected the rate for its weight will be selected.Other than that, Im not sure how you could do this, but presta cant.
