Shipping Cost per Categorey Basis

Hi

I need to set up shipping cost on a categorey basis. Currently, any order over £99 is free delivery, however, any mattress for example under £99 has a delivery charge of £29.99, where as a headboard under £99 has a delivery charge of £9.99.

In essence, I need to set delivery charges on a categorey basis for products under £99, to enable the correct delivery to be priced.

Any help appreciated.

This can't be done by prestashop. Its a big request and problem. You should try buying a shipping module (not much free ones out there) and then set the different weights to all the products of the categories to have a certain price.

For example:

- Set all Category A products to one (similar) weights.

- Set all Category B products to one (similar) weights.

- Set all Category C products to one (similar) weights.

So that when a particular item from one of those categories is selected the rate for its weight will be selected.

Other than that, Im not sure how you could do this, but presta cant.

Unfortunately I could not find an answer to this, and had to leave it as default.

If you find a solution, I would be grateful if you could let me know. I will also do the same and inform you.
