wotnots
My client is receiving emails with lots of syntax errors. see below:Nia, Next week we are starting receiving lampante. Usually it doesn’t have more than 1º.But for your information, prices could be, ( in 25 L plastic drums): · Extra virgin olive oil ( less than 0,8º) …………..4,135 €/ litre· Virgin lampante 1º…………. 3,950 €/ litre· Virgin lampante 2º…………..3,920 €/ litreI don’t have 10 L in this momento, but in a few days I will have it. Then I will send to you 10 L. I dont know how, but I will ask for it.Best regards.I thought it was the code settings for her email client. She says she has tried them all. These are messages from a foreign client. Is there, p[erhaps, something I can change in Prestashop to stop this, so that she can view the emails correctly? phrasespot
Clarify please, Where does Presta come into emails from someone to your client? Are those customer messages sent via Presta "Send a message"?
wotnots
The messages are sent from the Prestashop contact form. It is the messages that are sent in a foreign language that are the problem due to the different coding, I assume.
phrasespot
I cannot recreate this problem, languages I tried seem to be displaying well upon receipt of the email. Maybe the encoding configuration of the email client. Investigate what the customer uses as email client and what the encoding is set to for it. Also check if the characters display properly if the email is seen as text and not HTML.
