berlinrennt
Hi all,we are running a shop where you can buy and download relatively large movie files (up to 500 MB). I create virtual products, upload a small file first and later I upload the large file via ftp (and with this I replace this cryptic file in the download folder). So far, this seems to work fine. However, we have the following problem now. If somebody orders a movie, he receives an e-mail with the download link. The customer is able to start the download. But, and this the problem: the download ist cancelled after 41 Megabyte!?I have no idea what the problem could be. Is Prestashop the problem? Is the way I created the virtual product the problem? Or is it the server who has a limit? I don't have problems to download other large files from the Server!?Does anybody have an idea? It's - as usual - a bit urgent ...Thanks for your help!!Best,Lorenz
tomerg3
Does is always stop at the same place? Can you try to download the file directly from your server? (just upload it to a folder and try to download)That should let us know if it's a server issue, or a Prestashop issue
berlinrennt
Yes, it does always stop after 41 MB. If I download a file from another folder it's no problem. So I think its rather an Prestashop issue.I mean, the file I upload when creating a new product ist just 10kb ... and then I overwrite this file with a 500GB one. Could this be the problem? Hm.Thanks for your help!
