Sigmun2001
Hi guys,I have a new issue for anyone who would shed a light on this:I have about 3456 combinations for a product and each one requires a different image. I have been linking an image per combination, but as you can imagine, it is taking me forever. QUESTION: Is there an easier way I can link the images to a combination? A batch method, import?Much appreciated!
Sigmun2001
Any ideas anyone? I am stuck here and I really think it would benefit other people. Thanks!
Sigmun2001
Bump.Any takers? Sorry but I need help, or at least, someone tell me it is not possible and I just need to wait for a new release.
tomerg3
I don't think anything would be added in one of the next releases, so you probably need to have something customized for it.I also saw someone that was reporting issues when loading more than 255 images.I don't think it's a very good idea to load 3000 images, the page would take forever to load, do you really need to show an image of each possible combination?Could you just show an image of each individual attribute?Having 3,000+ attributes is already stretching Prestashop to it's attribute limits. Sigmun2001
That was me putting 255 + images...lolYes, I did a long search on ecarts and PrestaShop would do the job for me. I am not a developer, so the only way I came up with approaching my problem is this way. I am attaching the screenshots of my attributes. The problem is that there is a configuration that the customer needs to make and produce an image as a result, because there too many attributes with two sets of colour, the combinations go one-too-many.Thanks for your help! Sigmun2001
PS: It wont take time to load for the customer, just for Back Office, here is what it is looking like so far: attachedOh, and it is not 3000 images, it is just that out of the attribute group combinations, I need to link images to each. In total I am uploading about 500 images.
Sigmun2001
Hello there,I am still hoping to get some answer about this. Like many here, I am working with PS to fulfill a contract. Thanks!
tomerg3
I gave you an answer, PS can be customized to do it more efficiently, but that requires coding...There's no quick fix, and unless someone else did it before and is will to share it, you'll have to do it yourself (or hire someone to do it for you)
