Tax Setup Problems

Hi,

I have a problem setting up VAT for the UK. Here is what I want to do:

I want to be able to charge VAT only for customers based in the UK. All orders from any other country should be VAT free.


Back Office >> Shipping >> Zones I created a New Zone called United Kingdom

Back Office >> Shipping >> Countries then added the Country United Kingdom to this Zone

Then at Back Office >> Payment >> Taxes I checked in the Zone United Kingdom for the relevant tax rate.

Whenever I do a test purchase there is no tax added. All Products are set to "No Tax". What am I doing wrong?

Hi that is enabled as the US tax calculation works fine

I assume you are checking with UK address?

Yes I do. If I set the tax rate for every product manually then it works but what if I want to use different VAT rate for each country?

I read that a good few times actually the tax behaviour is not working for me on the way it is described there.
