Custumize Shopping Cart with correct values

Hi, I want to customize the totals of my shopping cart in a certain way and I need it to have all the correct values. This is how I would like it:


- Subtotal --> (The total for products without taxes and account for any discounts, gift wrapping, or any other fess. To also include shipping cost)

- Tax --> (Apply the tax rate to the total products and for any discounts, gift wrapping, or other fees)

- Order Total --> (The sum of Subtotal + Tax)



I thought this would be easier, but I've been playing around with the Cart.php (from classes folder) for a while and can't get the values right. And another issue is that the shopping cart total and the order-payment.tpl total don't match (the order-payment.tpl was the wrong one).


So if anyone can help, I would really appreciate.
