Perhaps you missed that bitcoin is a fraud payment system loosing value day-by-day in these last months/year. Bitcoin is a not serious play money. Taleeia Posted July 26, 2024 Share Posted July 26, 2024 I am looking also for a on chain way to accept bitcoin module. I have zero interest in using bitpay, blockonomics, coingate ect... I want direct peer to peer through the block chain possibly a option for my own or use some one s lightning network. If it could use different address each transaction and be compatible with electrum that would be cool. Bitcoin is accepted world wide . currently is the most secure payment/network that is the biggest threat to any bank or payment processor so i understand there is some negativity. I do not want to accept many different crypto. I want to accept only Bitcoin. Bitcoin was designed to be used to remove money from state (government) and to stop the control of money with banks. I want a module that allows me to be free to sell with out need of a exchange and or a bank. Bitcoin is certainly not a fraud payment system. Its a freedom system. If you know of a module that just does bitcoin for prestashop. Heck I willing to change to anything for the time that does just bicoin. Please let me know. Taleeia Posted October 29 Share Posted October 29 Bitcoin was designed so i could have a phone and a internet connection or what ever and connect to the decentralized block chain with my wallet and i could buy something from you or vise versa with a qr code and we could do commerce with out a bank or a government or any payment processor trying to take a cut and claim its unsafe. Bitcoin is that secure network built by people like me who keep the network secure and de central by running our own full nodes. The miners handle the transactions for a small fee. There is nothing like Bitcoin in the world. It fixes alot of what is wrong with the current money system. The link you gave me is a exchange (never trust a exchange always move your money off there system and into your own private on chain wallet!) This is just another example of a unnecessary bottom feeder (Binance a exchange company) trying to take money for your transaction using the false sense of safety I could at this moment in time If i check mempool.space using a conversion of USD buy something from you in exchange for bitcoin directly on chain for transaction fee of $0.16 (really You can do 200 transactions in that one fee (beyond the scope of this) ) But if I use a plugin that is controlled by a exchange / bank / payment processor whatever they will charge me a Whole heck of alot more for one transaction. I see $5 they want a percentage they claim its for the miners. (Alot of that is not truth because its clear in the block chain the costs, see mempool.space) Why do I have to pay more for something that is already secure. and safe. I did see some direct on chain stuff for presta shop at one time but now its gone. Never been able to find them again. Its all through some company who wants to take a cut. there will be a point where folks will realize its completely a waste of time to go through one of these gateways. sorry for the rant.
