Pagination does not work on multiple product pages

Hi, I have a PS1.7.2.0 store installed and find that the pagination does not work to scroll through product pages.

For example, if I have say 3 product pages, hitting the link to bring up pages 2 or 3 does not work.

Can anybody shed some light on how to fix this?

if is not the default theme, is a theme issue, i recommend to update the theme to the one in version 1.7.2.4
