Redirect EU customers to site subdomain

I have 2 different setups of prestashop, one on mydomain.com and a specific EU site on eu.mydomain.com

Basically, i want all EU customers visiting mydomain.com to be redirected to the EU subdomain.

 

I have seen this solution: https://pcmshaper.com/blog/142-php-redirect-based-on-country but not sure where this would be put into prestashop

 

Any information greatly appreciated
