Adding personal message to Shipping page (Front Office)

My client would like to let the customer add a personal message that comes with the delivered products, like when you attach messages to be sent with flowers.

I think the best place to add this information is in the shipping page. Can Prestashop do this out-of-the-box, or is there a module available? If there are no modules available, I think I may be able to make one, with a little help. It would be handy to adapt the code from one module to create a new one. Any pointers will be appreciated.
