hurray
In prestashop 1.2.5 under "Order" tab at the back-end, I do not see any option to delete orders. For orders that I have already shipped a longtime ago, I would like to delete them to free up some database space. And will deleting older orders affect my shop in anyway? Thanks.Hurray
SpyrosT
Deleting orders will affect you stats if they are real.If you still need to do it the solution is here.
hurray
Yes, but can you tell me which file in prestashop 1.2.5 needs to have the mentioned code added?
SpyrosT
The change has to be done via ftp on admin/tabs/AdminOrders.php file.
hurray
I still do not understand what you mean. The solution posted on the link http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/16427/#74325 is to add a code or a set of codes under admin/tabs/AdminOrders.php file. And I am having a hard time finding this file in prestashop 1.2.5.
SpyrosT
This file is in your server and you have to access it using a ftp software.
pasko
Hi,Thanks for the link SpyrosT and thanks to Carlos "HERE" !!! it is just great! I just tested and works for PS 1.2 and 1.3, didn't try for 1.1.open ….admin/tabs/AdminOrders.phpFind $this->table = 'order'; $this->className = 'Order'; $this->view = 'noActionColumn'; $this->colorOnBackground = true;[code] and include “$this->delete = true;” $this->table = 'order'; $this->className = 'Order'; $this->view = 'noActionColumn'; $this->colorOnBackground = true; $this->delete = true;[code] now you have this feature enable in the admin/orders page
