Brecht Verhelst
Hi everybody! I have a problem uploading pictures on my website. I wanted to upload some pictures for my 'about us' page but whenever I try to select a picture from my computer it doesn't do anything an there is a Red Cross on the picture I tried to upload. When I swipe my mouse on the picture it says this: '<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>408 Request Timeout</title> </head><body> <h1>Request Timeout</h1> <p>Server timeout waiting for the HTTP request from the client.</p> </body></html>' Does anybody knows how to solve this? Thank you very much!
Scully
Say your prestashop version in use and post your details from backoffice => advanced => configuration. I'd guess you have max_execution_time set to a low value.
Brecht Verhelst
Hi Scully! Thanks for replying so fast! The version I use is 1.7.2 and I have put a picture as attachment (I think that this is page you mean but I am not certain). Thank you in advance
Scully
I am sorry but I am not very familiar with 1.7. You max execution time seems good. Maybe you could make a statement on whether I ever has worked. And if yes, since when it dosen't anymore.
Brecht Verhelst
Dear Scully Yes It always worked until yesterday. I uploaded the pictures of my products via a module. I don't know what happened with it..
Scully
I you use 3rd party module for products, try uninstalling this. Many modules cause errors at places you wouln't expect.
Adria Laxson
Is it possible that you are having a server/internet provider timeout? If not, first thing to try is another ISP. That may be difficult to do from your phone but has cured any image upload problem I've ever had.
selectshop.at
Perhaps your pictures are too big. Memory_limit for Prestashop 1.7. should be not lower than 512M. Max_input_time is what ? Should be also not lower than 300. Check also your configuration on the TAB Themes -> image settings on back-office. There you can also change sizing of pictures in bytes.
