We use only remote servers and - if needed - set up .htaccess rules which only allows our IP address range to visit the site. All others are redirected. Using remote has some advantages. - Easy to swtich for production - Easy to investigate performance and network issues - Same environment as on production in terms of server setup, database, memory, webserver, PHP Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
