Fabrice Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 I can not give a default catalog to my products.This is useful in this case: the suggestions presented at the bottom of each product are expected to resume in the same product category (in any case one whose product is derived), taking into account what category you come (when it was clicked, where was it?) Is a hyper usefull function. but that does not work well at all in my case as I created a catalog (inactive, of course) called 'whole catalog" history not like entering all the entries when I want to edit generally, and especially not to forget a product, well ... guess what? when it comes to the home page, the default catalog that is taken into account is precisely this one: the whole catalog. So, once in two, my "suggestions" are not clean. it's a pity. someone would have a "trick" to circumvent this problem?I wanted to change the default category, but that's where it gets stuck.or so I not understand everything :if I select a category x, in what is my product, the default category is shown x if I go to another category y, which is also my product category default is y. ... it is illogical not?how do you manage that?is there a solution ?
