Handling a difference in price between PS & Sage Pay

We're having an issue with the Sage Pay Go module since we included a 2% credit card surcharge in PS 1.6.1.11

 

When a customer checks out, they go through the normal process & are then handed to Sage Pay to make the card payment. a debit card is fine but when the 2% charge is added to a credit card the Sage Pay module reports a different value back to the shop than is expected causing a payment error.

 

Does anyone know if it's possible to take the surcharge into consideration when the payment has been taken & passed back to PS?

How do you charge the 2%? Do you use a different module?

it's added by Sage Pay as that's the point we know the payment will be made by credit or debit card

So then Sage Pay module should override validateOrder function to avoid this payment error.

Unfortunately not. Only the key requirements are available (crypt key, and vendor name).
