Export to EU countries

I would like to export to EU countries and I need the VAT number of the customers.

If a customer don't have a VAT number they have to pay the taxes (VAT), but if the customer has a valid VAT number he don't have to pay VAT.

In prestashop there is a " field " for spanish customers called DNI. but for European customers don't have a field. I can activate " Need tax identification number? ", but it only accepts DNI or NIF (Spanish identification).

Is there any module to do that?

I am very new in prestashop and I am changing some things. Another cuestion, is there any module to put a horizontal navigation bar (Prestashop v.1.3.1)?

I'm sorry for my english I am learning, but is too dificult to learn a new language.
