Paypal module multiplies by 10000 the units

Hi all,
I have installed the Paypal 1.6 module on a 1.3.1 PS site, and I find that when I want to pay a cart by PayPal, the module passes the information to Paypal that the cart contains the units bought multiplied by 10000. The transport quantity is correct, though. So, 3 units @ 10 eur each + 7 eur transport is passed as 30 000 units, 300 007 eur.

I don't know if it has to do with the fact that in Spain we use , and . as decimals and thousands, unlike British for example.

How should I fix this issue?
