TurkeyFish
I'm trying to do the simplest possible thing you can think of with combinations: Adding a single dropdown to a product, with 2 possible values. I've spent all day reading through a dozen threads here, reading through the section in the Prestashop documentation several times, and clicked through every option I can find in the attributes and products pages. I have one attribute named Tier, a dropdown list. I have two values for it, 2 and 3. I try adding the combinations in the product, and I get the error "You can only add one combination per attribute type". What does that mean? Isn't this the whole point of a dropdown, to have the user select a value for the attribute?? So maybe I'm misunderstanding the entire system. I go to Product Combinations Generator, add values 2 and 3, changing the impact on the product price for value 3 to $89. I enter 1000 for default quantity. I click Generate Combinations. It successfully saves, but then I go to the front end, reload the product page, and the attributes are showing but selecting 3 does not affect the attribute price. I even added it to the cart. It's still showing only the base price. What am I not understanding?
