Per item discount - Is it possible?

I need to be able to give customers a per item discount.

Ex: .005 off every shirt. If the customer orders 20 shirts, I want them to be able to enter a voucher code and automatically receive the discount of $5 for each shirt. Combined discount of 100.00.

They get the discount only if they have the code. Otherwise, regular price.

I haven't seen any way of doing this, and having the customer make individual transactions is not customer friendly.

Anyone know a solution (other than using another shopping cart prog)?
