Save and stay and edit not working

Hi Im running presta shop latest upto date default theme. save save and stay button does not save. when i click on save and stay all appears to work but screen goes back to product list and no changes made. was working ok untill I up graded to latest recommended php and presta shop. I see othe members talking about this refering to editing and taking out lines of code in the back end. I do not know how to do this any solutions for me.

I do not understand programming language so how do I fix this can an expert sort this out for me there does not appear to be any errors showing if I use the f12 function key help.

 

 

How does a user get help with presta shop when something like this goes wrong?
