ps1.7 replicate products grid in a custom module

I would like to replicate products grid in a custom module, adding custom actions, I don't want to override or touch source code.

 

The module will show the grid as configuration page of the module it self or as a new section backoffice.

 

I think I should extend AdminProductsController, define custom actions and render the list of products. However I cannot find anywhere what is the right way to this.

 

Actually prestashop 1.7 guide seems to be a little bit superficial.
