alireza.stack Posted February 24, 2017 Share Posted February 24, 2017 I wanted to use utf-8 characters in my friendly URLs as exlpained here: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Handling+special+characters+in+links I used `Old_Persian` as mentioned in the above article. After all the changes, url is cleared when `Persian` or `Arabic` characters are typed in URL friendly part of the product. I could see that there is a JS file that checks the regex again.
