How to remove quantity

Hi mates i am setting up a small online store with just digital downloads. so when i am adding (uploading) file. then do i have to modify the quantity field as well for these type of products.? as its already filled with 1 by default. and when i am checking my product. its displaying that .

Availability: 1 item in stock items in stock

Warning: Last items in stock!

so help me out with this. as digital download products have to be unlimited downloads till i remove them personally from the admin.

or this massage is just temporary. so suggest me what i will put in the quantity.?

hi thanks for your reply. i did what u said. now the quantity is removed. but its displaying a warning that only last item left..
now what to do?

Enter 0 under "Display last quantities when qty is lower than" on the Preferences > Products tab.
