Prestashop 1.6.1.6 order confirmation page not found

Hi All,

I'm  Aruna and I recently started using prestashop to set up a online store. I have setup the site few months back and managed to link a 2checkout account as a payment gateway. After doing so I was able to do purchases and everything was fine.

 

Few months later (after setting up everything to officially launch the site) I did a order placement today to see if everything is working fine.

 

However  now prestashop gives me 404 error on order confirmation.

it redirects to 2checkout and accepts my payment. but after accepting payment, it tries to redirect to prestashop index.php with some parameters, but then shows 404 page cannot be found.

 

further more admin panel does not show any placed orders. how ever payment was a success.

 

Is this a known issue? can someone please help me to fix this? I'm using version 1.6.1.6 and quite frustrated as it blocked the website launch.

 

it was working fine few months back, it just stopped today

any help would be highly appreciated.

P.S.  If you try a free order (price = $0 & shipping = $0) then it will pass and it will be showed in the order page in admin pannel
