adding header_nav info into independent html document

Recommended Posts

I'm not completely sure how to phrase this so bear with me if I'm not quite making sense...

what I'm trying to do at this point is to modify the division tags in header_navigation so that quantities added to the cart and user login remain active if I go to other sections of my site.

In my case if you were to go to my home page it loads index.html and this has links to other html docs as well as my shop. Now, lets say somebody is at the shop, logs in and adds a few things to the cart. Then they go to one of my html pages how would I keep the cart and login information displaying properly? There are several spans and some script info there, but I can't quite seem to figure out how to add them to my html header.

<!-- end header_user -->
<!-- end header_right -->

Hopefully that made some degree of sense. If not let me know if I need to clarify it a little better.
