[SOLVED]Oversea Shipping and Carrier Issue

Hi I having problem with oversea customer are unable to proceed to check out.


For example

I have set up 6 zone which is

1 Europe
2 US
3 Asia
4 Africa
5 Oceania
6 Singapore

As we all know that Singapore is under Asia zone but if i didn't create a zone as "Singapore" customer from Singapore will not be able to check out. This apply to other oversea customer as well.
Let say if I have a customer from France i have to manually set up a zone as France in order for them to check out eventhough France is in Europe but if i don't change the France zone from Europe to France then the customer won't be able to check out.

Is there anyway to make it auto without me setting each country zone 1 by 1.. thats like 200 ++ country in list...

if my explanation is not clear pls point it out... sry for the poor english...

When you create a new carrier make sure you have checked the zone or zones this carrier ships to
and remember to enable carrier.

p.s. take a look if all countries are in the right zone

zones this carrier ships to is enable as shown on shipping01

All country are in the right zone
For example Singapore is in Asia. ( shipping02.jpg)

All zones are enable (shipping03.jpg)

My problem is if i don't manually create a zone name Singapore and assign the country Singapore to Zone Singapore the customer will have problem to check out.

There is a small error here.
You said that zone 6 is Singapore, but there is no a Singapore zone in the photos.
You have an extra zone named Malaysia.

So create a new Zone under the name Singapore, then go to your
country list and edit Singapore (id 25) so that zone is Singapore.
Create a new carrier and set this carrier for shipping to Zone Singapore.

Singapore is just an example.

There is more than 200 country in the list. do i need to create the zone 1 by 1 ? or is there any way that i dont need to create it 1 by 1 ?

NO! you don't have to create a zone for each country.
You must create a zone for your country using the same name ONLY IF you need
to use a local carrier for local shippings.

Also give your shipping rates.

Is there a way i can assign carrier for each like all country in europe is 1 rate, all country in Asia is 1 rate. how to do that so i dont have to create zone to country by country

OK look.
You have a list of the countries and you have a list of zones where all these countries are group.

When you create a carrier and select to what zones is available this enables the carrier to all
countries are included in the selected zone.

If i do in this way i will get back to the original problem "There are no carriers available that will deliver to this address!"
