Prestashop 1.6.1.7 not sending emails

Hi,

 

I've got a problem with a prestashop 1.6.1.7 hosted in OVH:

 

I can send the test email using the PHP() function, but the shop don't seem to send any notification by email.

If I try to configure the SMTP and IMAP parameters (provided by OVH) and send the test email I get the error:  "Failed to authenticate on SMTP server with username "[email protected]" using 2 possible authenticators".

 

I've tried to use a Google account to send the emails, but that does not work either.

 

Any hints?

Hi,

 

Finally I found the right configuration for the SMTP parameters using an OVH mail account. The test email works fine.

 

But prestashop still don't send any notification email, "forgot password" email, etc.

 

Any hints?

hi,
 
i have the same problem whit PS 1.6.1.7
when i test the email from "Test Email Configuration" under "Advanced Parameter -> Email" i receive the email
But when i make a order i don't receive any email.
 
i don't understand where there is the problem.
 
If i make a php script that test the email it is OK!
I receive the email with any kind of email (hotmail, live, gmail ecc...)
