【questions】Prestashop Update Step Problem [For 1.3 final]

I have the 1.3.0.8 installed , and i want to update to the 1.3f.

STEP1:Upload and overwrite the different files(all the files or folders exclude the install folder ) between the 1.3F and 1.3.0.8

STEP2 :Copy the install folder to the host and set all the folder permission as the PS wiki said.

STEP3:Run the install wizard, chose the update ps, and it is said update successful and check the log: i can see several update of the database is done.

STEP4: delete the install folder.

My questions are:
Is there any difference between my way and the normal update or a fresh install of 1.3F and copying all the modified files or folders and export & import database??

The update wiki is really inconvenience for those who make a lot of files modified like me!
Is there any problem in my update step? correct me please!


P.S when I use this way update to 1.3f, i have a order-confirm problem and cart problem. I don't know weather they connect with my update way!
