t is due to your MySQL configuration.
The fulltext mode of MySQL automatically skip words less than 4 characters long. For example, if you’re looking for “a big bottle of wine”, it will only search for “bottle” and “wine”, considering that the other words are useless for the search.
Of course, you can change this setting in your configuration.

i search almost about it on forum,find this is work to me ,i add an tag more than 4characters ,it work ,but my product have "mbt "keyword ,it only 3characters ,so

prestashop v. 1.2.x o 1.3.x

attenzione valore 3 cerca parole di 4 caratteri, valore 1 cerca parole di 2 caratteri (> no >=)

Pay attention value 3 search 4 characters words - value 1 search 2 characters words (> no >=)
