IGNITER
Hello everyone!I would like to ask, is there a option to manage 2 or more shops (frontends) with only one backend. There is 2 independent sites with different purpose, which i have to manage somehow. The idea of watching on many (2) backend panels doesn't sounds good.Thank you in advance. You can do that, but need to configure 2 sites with same database, this mean that 2 sites have same info (products, and all)The trick : install a prestashop normall, and in other domain copy the installed version, to set the settings.inc.php a different theme for one of the sites, and configure the database. Diemux
Above will work but everything in your shop will be the same. Settings, names, categories and custom pages etc. Presta doesn't support multi-shop due to the way the database queries are build, they don't support multiple databases. If you need to show diffrent prices (reduction for exaple), can modify the TPL or the PHP files

If somebody would order an item they will still pay the same price...

nzrobert
I have multi-shop working just fine, just need manipulate a number of files.Be careful with duplicated content if you are using the same products across more than one website. If you want different products in each shop, you need to create multiple categories. (would suggest doing this anyway, even if you have the same products in more than one category, just to make sure you avoid duplicated content for search engines)Prestashop is one of the most flexible ecommerce products around, its easy to customise and use.
