"Random" changes home page

Hello all, 

 

I have a very annoying problem: my site's home page keeps switching between how it's supposed to look and then how it's not supposed to look:

 

• The home page image slider disappears, seems like module is simply gone but I'm not sure
• The logo changes to the logo set for the mobile site (it's linking to it when I inspect the site)

No changes are made in BO or with the files.

 

All the cache options are turned on, clearing the cache does nothing. 

Template recompilation is usually set to never; I just recompiled and the home page got fixed BUT this has been happening for days now, so it will probably happen again. 

 

Anyone got any idea what could possibly cause this? I do changes to the test site and I thought maybe there is an option I didn't change so live site could get affected, but that can't be the case as I literally left the site looking normal the other day and in the morning it was messy. 

 

Please ask if any additional information can help you help me This is getting to be a problem

P.S. if it makes any difference, viewing the site with live configurator actually displays normally...
