Change the dimensions of picture in category

Hello everyone, very shortly,

 

I wanna create one product shop, so I decided to download the prestashop template, and now I need to change few things in the layout of the site. So basiclly I want for every category in horizontal menu use the slides from product presentation. So my question is- Is it possible to insert and change the dimensions of the picture for each category? I wanna create shop with simple and clear design and if it is possible to use only pictures for categories withou texts, it will be very good for me. So, I'll be very grateful for your advices.

As long as you know how to code you can do whatever you want.

 

You can change images sizes in Preferences->Images or you can edit [Your_shop]/themes/[Your_theme]/category.tpl depending on what exactly you want to achieve.

Also if you want to use pictures without descriptions, just do not enter descriptions.
