Depending on which proposals and what form they will take will depends on how your business is set up.  In particular they address GEO blocking (if you redirect to different domain based on country there will be legal issues | different price by country | more), inter EU shipping (read price gouging by carriers for inter-country shipping.

Will post more on any latest developments as I see them.

yes, I am happy someone found this.  Today the shipping for country to country is just ridiculous.  While Amazon cuts deals the smaller busininess scramble to find affordable shipping, and it's slim pickings.  This is true around the world, 547.00USD to send 12 pounds via dhl US Colombia....pirates....

 

The geo rules coming into affect will take notice of many of the current geo location modules on the market,  not mine, I have told people to not use redirects for visitors mostly because of seo penalty and bots gone wrong, but now it looks like even  more of a bad idea.
